To our Metro Medical family,
We stand together in this uncertain time, which will impact each of our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are extended to those closely affected. We all must do our part to slow the spread and prioritise our community’s safety. We continue to monitor the developments of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and follow initiatives as per Government’s directive, and we are also actively following and practicing the guidelines recommended by WHO (World Health Organization).
We have taken the following actions to date for the safety of the employees at our distribution centres:
- We are monitoring temperature of all our employees at the entrance/exit. Our employees are regularly washing their hands and have been provided with face masks and gloves to wear when handling the instruments. We are monitoring their health and wellbeing very closely and they are instructed to strictly stay at home if they begin to feel symptoms of COVID. Those in need of precautions, are advised and equipped accordingly.
- We’re increasing the frequency of regularly scheduled cleanings and sanitisation efforts across the facility in line with advice from the World Health Organization and local authorities.
- Our Packing department is being disinfected daily and deep-cleaned twice a week to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness. We continue to work very closely with our last mile delivery partners to ensure that all appropriate health and hygiene standards are adhered to.
